The Association Science & Television (AST), founded in 2001, is an independent producers group, working in about forty production companies. These companies produce all types of films and have a significant activity in the scientific field. Together, they produce the vast majority of scientific programming broadcast on television in France. The AST has developed numerous activities to promote the place of science on television and to promote international co-productions. It aims to be an interface between international producers, institutions, researchers, directors, television networks...
